Gengetu rates this game: 5/5The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is one the best games for GBA, to me. The graphics are pretty good, and there are a lot of features in the game.
Technically, it's an improved version of Oracle of Ages & Seasons, and Link's Awakening. About the features, you can collect figurines of almost EVERYONE in the game, by trading Mysterious Shells for them, and there are descriptions for them. For some enemy figurines, weaknesses for some of them are revealed. There are also special sword techniques taught to you by sword masters, all scattered around Hyrule, and you need to find them to teach you these skills. But for a few of them there are requirements that you need to complete for them to teach you. And you need a certain item for you to perform some of the techniques. Also, you get to shrink, to turn super-tiny and talk to super-tiny people that are part of story, no, actually play a major role in the story!

Hence the title, they refer to themselves as the Minish, though humans call them the Picori. And as a bonus, you have a talking hat on your head, who's actually an old Minish who's been cursed by an evil human-transformed Minish wizard, who turns the princess of Zelda to stone! Well, it IS a great game.to me!

To save his friend, Link needs the power of the Picori Blade, but only a certain master swordsmith can reforge it. Can Link find the pieces of the broken sword before Vaati does? The tone of Minish Cap is much in line with the Oracle of Seasons/Ages set. Comical, silly, and fun. Perhaps even more so.The tone and attitude never even remotely veers towards dark and gloomy.

Often he simply is shown finishing or receiving whatever is needed. Travel time is also low and the journey feels rushed into a fast forward pace. The art style is wonderful and there are a few moments that really give the reader a feeling of a great epic journey. Though they are just glimpses of what is left unsaid and under shown.Perhaps the least serious entry of the entire set. This book shines in its total embrace of comedy and character interplay. Though the lack of a serious tone and feeling of gravity to the events unfolding does feel like a slight betrayal of the story actually being told. My first manga. I loved reading this one.Only the first pages are coloured and the others are monochrome.
I think it would be nice if all the pages were coloured, so it will be graphically even better. It’s very smoothly to read. I think the art looks nice and the story is fascinating.

It was the day of the picori festival and link wanted to sword fighting. A strange man won,but he didn't want money he wanted the light force. The light force was sealed up, but he would anything for it he started to turn Zelda into stone.
Vaati is to strong for link and if he doesn't beat him Zelda will be stone forever. Link gets the picori blade and brawls out with Vaati and with the strength of link and the picori blade they defeated Vaati and Zelda was brought back to life.I took this book It was the day of the picori festival and link wanted to sword fighting. This book was amazing it had a compelling story and likable characters.
The story's main characters are Elzo the talking hat and Link, Elzo under goes lots of character development while link mostly stays the same but plays a huge part in the climax. The story has many different settings and landscapes including Hyrule, The forest and the sky lands. The villain and the ending are both very underwhelming, Also the villain only shows up at the start and the end. I'll explain why I like and don't like this book. The Legend of Zelda was a video game made on the old generation consoles that were in the 19th century. I have played this game and became emotionally connected with it through the story and game itself.
Like the video game, the book has the main characters, Zelda and Link. In the book it starts off with Link and his grandfather forging a sword and talking about the rare Picori that only kids can see once every 100 years. Link of course is an adventurous boy who of course likes to have fun and play around.
Link is on the Swift Blade dojo team and hears he is not invited to tournaments he wants to attend. After hearing these bad news, Link is in an upset mood and goes into the woods to let out his frustration and anger by cutting trees until he saw a person who shows him how to cut lots of trees using magic. Soon Zelda meets Link by sneaking out the castle to see him. They both go to The Annual Picori Festival to see what it is like and unfortunately for Link, the tournament was held there and the man in the woods was attending it. The man finally won the tournament and won the sword that held all the dark souls in the tomb.
The guys name was Vaati and he wanted to find the light force which grants his mage power to be infinite. Vaati turned Zelda into stone and the only way to get her back to normal is to repair the shattered sacred sword. Link must get the sword to a Picori smith who can forge the sword back together. Link is off to find the Picori and save Princess Zelda. On his way to look for the Picori, Link meets a wise cap getting jumped by the evil spirits released from the sword. Link saves the cap and puts it on so it can help him on his journey. The cap helped Link find the Minish Portal that leads to the rare Picori.
When Link meets them they don't speak hyrule until Link eats a walnut to help him speak their language. When talking to a wise man in the Picori village, Link found out that he needed to find all the elements of the planet to forge the sword. Again Link is off to risk his life for his friend.I liked this book because it had a lot of action and comedy in it that had me laughing my heart out or biting my nails and sitting at the edge of my chair wondering what is going to happen next. The one complaint I have about this book is that I feel they made the action go by to quick and the book needed to be more slow pace and have a series of this whole book filled with more action and story. This is quite a departure from what I remember the Minish Cap being like as a kid. I really did not like the art style and the plot felt rushed and lackluster compared to the many other manga's in this Zelda series by the duo Akira Himekawa.
There is a lot of cringy material in this volume - things ranging from Zelda's and Link's mannerisms/personalities to weird perverted instances of Link looking up a woman's skirt (what was that seriously)- which unfortunately, made this read very hard. I also find it hard to believe this manga is considered cannon with its references to pop-culture and Irish myth - but I'm told it is. What a disaster. The characters are drawn in a chibi style; their heads are large in comparison to their bodies, their eyes are large, and their faces are simple. The story is fun, and the mystery of Elzo's identity keeps the readers interested.
This book is much more lighthearted than others in the series, probably because of the art style and the fact that the main character seems much younger than other Legend of Zelda protagonists because of his look and his constant bickering with Elzo. Since I'm in the middle of the game, I picked up the manga for fun while on a lunch break. I wish I hadn't. To start, I'm not a big fan of the manga medium.

Not only did that not happen, but suddenly Link had help from people who weren't in the game. In the second dungeon, the boss changed into a cute little creature that looked like a Pokemon. That didn't happen in the game and I wanted it to! As I continued reading, I found other parts that I really wish would happen in game, but I fear they won't. Ultimately, I'm glad I read this for the simple fact that I know not to ruin anymore of the games for myself. This book was kind of weird.

Not to mention the whole inheritance of Force thing.A lot doesn't really make sense , like when we are told that one elder Minish was the only one to ever enter a certain temple and then suddenly said temple is full of Minishand is just silly. Like when on one hand Link is mature enough to think because he never believed in the Minish he is no longer innocent and therefore cannot see them but he tells Zelda (who is now just a statue) to wait for him. This is a fun and light-hearted fantasy that delivers an entertaining experience for the reader. It is of course a quite classical plot for what concerns the Legend of Zelda's comics, however, I found this story more of my taste. Maybe because finally it was not the version number 200 of the same plot, maybe because there was some element of unpredictability, maybe because there and then it was also quite funny. But Link is the hero, something evil appears and make Zelda becomes a stone statue, what shall he do if not just trying to save her, somehow? He will have to go around the realm in o It is of course a quite classical plot for what concerns the Legend of Zelda's comics, however, I found this story more of my taste. I am reading: Legend of Zelda: Minish cap. I really like it when Link finds Ezlo, it shows some good and bad chemistry between them. Though it was a fantasy the author really brought Link to life by showing his silly but heroic aditude. Link's Origen is from a video game that author Akira Himekawa brought to life.
This isn't Ms.Himekawa has made, she has done nine other Legend of Zelda manga. Also I think that link can be silly or heroic at even the scariest moments.
